| About Us |
We are a small company based in St. Louis, MO. We opened for business in 2001, although our family name was associated
with the pipe organ industry for many years, initially working for the old Kilgen organ company and then starting up a small
organ repair business. The theatre organ has always been a passion, and after taking early retirement from a large oil
company I decided to follow that passion and start a small business. Realizing that not everyone can afford to have a theatre
pipe organ in their home, I set out to make the unique sound of the mighty Wurlitzer theatre organ come alive again in a way
that is both practical and affordable. In addition, you will find that we offer unique products and services. That's what TOE is
really all about.
We sell our products across the United States and have done organ upgrades and rebuilds for customers across the country.
However, we currently do not do business outside the US.
We provide specialty products and services to the theatre organist and enthusiast, and are unique in that some of our products
are custom manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. We also sell a line of hand made products that you will likely
not find anywhere else, and some products that may be available from other sources also.
On our [Home] page you will see my Wurlitzer 3/42. The console was purchased several years ago from a gentleman in
California. It was in rather poor condition, so it was completely rebuilt. You can read all about it on our rebuilding page
We have a complete wood shop and are capable of any rebuilding or refinishing project from console refinishing, console
rebuilding or starting from scratch. In addition, we have our own line of products, made by hand at our shop. We can also
design and build custom items, including organ platforms, custom organ pipe facades, speaker enclosures and more. We can
also install new control systems, replace analog with digital technology and do partial or complete rewiring of the console and it's
electronic systems. We also have a line of Wurlitzer digital theatre organ voices that are among the very best available, and
have done custom upgrades of Conn 650 series analog organs, including model 652's and 653's.
We also have a line of TO novelty items, as I refer to them. These items are our own designs, hand made by TOE. We are
continually adding to this list of items so check back often.
